Dr. Moodley’s journey into medicine was inspired by two remarkable women—his grandmother, whose dreams of a medical career were denied due to historical prejudices, and his mother, who encouraged him to pursue neurosurgery. Their aspirations fuelled his determination to break barriers, honour their dreams, and build a legacy of resilience and kindness in the medical field.

Education & Professional Milestones

Dr. Moodley completed his neurosurgical training at Universitas Academic Hospital, earning both an M.Med in Neurosurgery and the FC Neurosurgery qualification. His dedication to continuous learning and professional development has led to significant achievements in his field. One of the highlights of his career was attending the prestigious 8th Spine Academy Meeting in Germany in 2022. This experience deepened his expertise in degenerative spinal disease and reinforced his commitment to providing innovative and effective treatments for patients suffering from spinal conditions.
